-
What is your weather policy? Do you run in the rain?Florida winters are very mild but if you are booking a trip during our summer months weather may be an issue. While we will never take you out during unsafe weather conditions there may be an occasionally rain cell that pops up. There is covering under our T-Top and the captain will try to avoid the storms and keep you as dry as possible. If we ever have to cancel a trip due to weather, there will be a full refund to your trip.
-
Is there a better time of the day or week to book a trip?Yes, during the weekdays if your vacation or personal plans allow there will be less boat traffic on the waterways and sandbars to make your charter more enjoyable. Also, during the summer months when we experience summer late afternoon storms, the morning to mid-afternoon is the best time of the day to book.
-
Is there a cancellation policy? There is a 48hr cancellation policy. If you cancel 48hrs before your trip, you will be refunded for your whole trip and charged no fee. Inside that 48hr period, you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. Of course, there will be no fee if the captain cancels the trip due to adverse weather conditions.
-
What time are your tours scheduled? We provide 2, 3, and 4-hour tours. We have several different start times. Sometimes we book two 4-hour tours a day, so you may have to choose between morning or afternoon based on availability. We also offer sunset tours which last 90 minutes and vary depending on the season.
-
What time should I arrive at the dock?We usually ask guests to arrive 15mins prior to start time. This gives you time to park, unload and pay the $2 parking fee at the ramp. Once loaded onto the boat we also go over a USCG safety speech before we depart.
-
What should we bring with us?Towel, sunscreen or protective clothing, polarized sunglasses, bathing suit (if you intend on getting in the water), camera/phone, any food and beverage you want.
