  • How many people can your boat hold and what is included in the price?
All our tours are considered private tours, meaning you charter the entire boat for up to a maximum of 6 paying passengers. The rate is an all-inclusive rate that covers everything from the taxes and fuel to the Captain’s fee. We even provide an iced down cooler with bottle water for your enjoyment and hydration.
  • What forms of payment do you take?
We accept Cash as well as variety of pay apps including Zelle, Venmo, PayPal and Cash App. We also accept major credit cards (but there will be an added 3% processing fee for all credit cards).
  • What kind of boat will we be cruising on?
She is a Sea Fox 248 Commander Center Console powered by a Yamaha 250HP Outboard. Overall length is 25ft with plenty of seating areas to comfortable fit 6 guests.
  • Do you offer tours longer than your 4-hour half day trip?
Yes, we can extend trips all the way up to a full day, 8 hours. We charge $100 per each additional hour past the 4-hour $550 rate.
  • Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes, your captain will provide a cooler, bottled waters and ice but feel free to bring along your own food and non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (please avoid glass containers). Also, any charter can add on a captain cooked picnic/lunch on the boat for an additional fee.
  • What is an example of a “captain cooked picnic”?
Captain Mike enjoys making tacos of all kinds on the boat on our Magma grill. He specializes in blackened Mahi, Mojo pork and chicken tacos but can also put out a good ole fashioned hamburger or hot dog spread (Prices subject to specific requests)
  • Are there life jackets on board for infants/kids?
Yes, we have life jackets for everyone on board. Children 7 or under are required to wear life jackets at all times while underway. Please let us know in advance on child’s age and size so we can make sure we have the appropriate size jacket.
  • Do kids and infants count towards the 6-max passenger rule?
Yes, the Coast Guard considers any person onboard as part on the official head count.
  • What is your weather policy? Do you run in the rain?
Florida winters are very mild but if you are booking a trip during our summer months weather may be an issue. While we will never take you out during unsafe weather conditions there may be an occasionally rain cell that pops up. There is covering under our T-Top and the captain will try to avoid the storms and keep you as dry as possible. If we ever have to cancel a trip due to weather, there will be a full refund to your deposit.
  • Is there a better time of the day or week to book a trip?
Yes, during the weekdays if your vacation or personal plans allow there will be less boat traffic on the waterways and sandbars to make your charter more enjoyable. Also, during the summer months when we experience summer late afternoon storms, the morning to mid-afternoon is the best time of the day to book.
  • Is there a cancellation policy?
There is a 48hr cancellation policy. If you cancel 48hrs before your trip, you will be refunded your deposit and charged no fee. Inside that 48hr period, you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. Of course, there will be no fee if the captain cancels the trip due to adverse weather conditions.
  • What time are your tours scheduled?
We book 4, 6 and 8hr tours. The start time is completely up to you. Sometimes we book two 4hr tours a day so might have to choose between morning or afternoon. We also do sunset tours which last 90mins and vary depending on season.
  • What time should I arrive at the dock?
We usually ask guests to arrive 10mins prior to start time to go over USCG safety speech.
  • What should we bring with us?
Towel, sunscreen or protective clothing, polarized sunglasses, bathing suit (if you intend on getting in the water), camera/phone, any food and beverage you want.
  • Are there restrooms?
At some of the pickup locations there are public restrooms available. On the boat, we do have a private cabin inside the helm with a portable toilet for emergencies.
  • What are your pick-up locations?
We have multiple locations up and down the Gulf beaches, view the locations here.
  • Should we be tipping the Captain of our private charter?
Tips are always greatly appreciated as it is customary to tip your crew depending on level of service.
